Google Android: 1.5 Million Have Been Pre-sold

All of those extra G1s sold out too! The number of pre-orders sold out combine to be about 1.5 million units. These orders do not include retail sales. & the holiday season has not even started yet. Google is definitely on the right track to compete for the mobile gizmo market.

Whoever thought Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) would not give Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) a run for it’s money when it comes to mobile handsets was wrong. Later this month, Google will be releasing it’s Android operating technique on the T-Mobile HTC G1 phone. All of the preorders sold out, so T-Mobile tripled their original request order from HTC.

Google Android Market is superior for developers than the App Store for four simple reason: the revenue sharing agreement allows developers to keep all of their application sales money. The Apple App Store keeps 30%.

Fool.com points out that Google’s release on first impression must be flawless, otherwise customers may find themselves wanting to switch to an iPhone without looking back. Google is working closely with T-Mobile & other hardware suppliers to make sure that the launch is flawless. Google Android will be connected to an application store called Android Market. Applications will be built around the G1 features such as WiFi- sliding keyboard, touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, & 3G speeds.

The first impression is always crucial, but sometimes things could go awry. Apple had a rocky start on the day of launch for the iPhone 3G. Servers kept crashing which caused the lines of customers to keep growing. However, that event did not hinder the sales of the iPhone 3G - as I had reported earlier Apple has manufactured 10 million iPhones thus far to meet consumer demand.

MultiTouch technology absolutely does assume to be the next big affair as far as computer interfaces go. The iPhone has it implemented, Microsoft is embedding the tech into Windows 7, and Finnish aggregation MultiTouch a fresh appear multitouch LCDs.

On Friday, the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology, or HIIT (not be abashed with high-intensity breach training), launched a new 3D adaptation of its multitouch affectation alleged CityWall.

When I say "3D" I beggarly it's 3D as far as the cartoon on the awning go, but not in the way apparent in Minority Report. We're still a means off from that.

By application a rear-projection arrangement involving assorted cameras, projectors, and bittersweet sensors, the technology is able to clue as abounding fingers and easily as can fit on the screen--and abnormally analyze them.

This 3D adaptation of CityWall is now in use at the Lasipalatsi media centermost in Helsinki, Finland. Currently the awning is getting acclimated for an alternate exhibition that focuses on the allowances and nuisances of burghal nature. condom toothbrushes?

Brushing your teeth with your finger never works, despite how often you try it when you end up wasted at someone else's place for the night. You know, it just kind of smears the toothpaste over your teeth without creating a foam, and it leaves your mouth feeling even grosser than before. If only you had one of these weird finger condom toothbrushes! It looks to be extremely portable, albeit awkward to use and possibly tasting like rubber. It's the perfect accessory for people who end up sleeping in strange places often, like backpackers and sorority girls.

PSP with DualShock 3 controller

Other games may be able to potentially utilize PSP and -- however, it is currently a Retribution-only tech. Stay tuned as they reveal the exciting additions PS3's Resistance 2 and PSP's Resistance Retribution will bring (together!).

six of Sony's upcoming PSP games, Resistance Retribution, will utilize a newly developed technology called "PSP and." The feature will permit players of Retribution to connect their systems to the PS3, in order to enable use of PS3 wireless controllers. Using the DualShock will enable dual-analog control in the game. In addition, rumble will be supported. This potential use
of connectivity was hinted at in a patent filed over a year ago.
